Waste Management is proud to provide new every-other-week recycling collection services to the Town of Forest Park. Recycling is good for your community, and we aim to set your household up for recycling success right from the start. Our Recycle Right® resources will help you recycle the right materials, minimize contamination, and help your recyclables go on to enjoy a second life. Service Information & Guidelines: 

To implement every-other-week recycling, we will deliver a 96 Gallon Recycling Cart to each residence starting July 29, 2024. Your first trash and every-other-week recycling collection will be on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

Cart Placement:

To ensure the truck’s automatic arms can lift the carts, please make sure to place carts at least 3 feet apart and away from other objects like parked cars, mailboxes and trees. Place wheels of cart toward your house. 

Recycling collection is every other Wednesday:

Please place your recyclables directly into your cart. Do not bag your recyclables and breakdown cardboard. Trash collection is every Wednesday - Please bag your trash and tie the bags before placing them into your cart. No material outside the cart will be collected. Please have your carts at the curb the night before or no later than 6:00 a.m. on your collection day.
